Chad photographed empty lots in Chicago in 2008. 

His images capture the state of the urban environment as they transition from their recent occupied past to an unknown and uncertain future.

  1. I think that these photos are so wonderful! Is it odd how the seamstress in me sees stitching around the lot in the first photo? Perhaps these are photos of urban blight, but I can't help but see the beauty in them when viewed from above.
